Most Heads and Bursars these days are so involved in the day-to-day running of their schools that they have little time for detailed estate planning. However, a considered and objective review of the use of the school’s land and buildings will, almost certainly, provide a number of options that could bring real benefits to the way the school functions – benefiting parents, pupils, staff and often the local community.
A detailed analysis will provide other options that can deliver a more efficient and constructive use of space; this will lead to improvements in the teaching environment, the social and sporting areas and help generate savings. Our team has the ability to tease out and recommend new options for the use of the School’s land and buildings for the Governors and Senior Management Team to consider. At the end of the process we should be able to identify surplus land and buildings that can be realised and provide funds.
